Hello, Cebuanos and Cebuanos at heart! It’s going to be a fantastic Valentines as Banapple opens its 19th branch in Cebu IT Park. Moreover, it is Banapple’s full restaurant in Cebu– an upgrade to their mini-pop up bakeshop in Ayala Center Cebu.
Behind the scenes of Banapple’s success
Banapple is just one of those shops which started with a humble beginning. Serving only friends, family and referred food establishments, Banapple came into the spotlight by baking pies and cheesecakes simply in their own kitchen in Quezon City. Later on, they became popular among different food establishments and expanded their reach within Manila. Now, as they are in their 10 years of Banapple love, they are all ecstatic to serve their Cebuano followers with wonderful treats straight from their hearts.
Banapple is now in Cebu!!
Location: Garden Row, Cebu IT Park. (across The Walk)
Its location is in the heart of the flourishing Cebu IT Park– a short walk from all the entry points. It’s a nice place to take your entire team for a quick break from work or a payday treat!
Can you smell the pies and cheesecakes baking? Yep, that’s right! Banapple serves freshly-baked pies, cheesecakes, and desserts. No need to fly to Manila to taste the heavenly banoffee pie, one of Banapple’s trademark desserts. If you want a good meal, Bannapple also serves hot meals like the all-day breakfast meals, salads, pasta, and entrees.
Banapple Bloggers’ Brunch
I was so happy to be part of the bloggers who were invited for their soft opening. Pretty sure this goes the same with the rest of the bloggers who came amidst the bad (and bed) weather. For starters, I ordered their banapple smoothie. The event formally started with a short yet interesting introduction from GJ and Maricel Jimenez, the owners of Bannaple. They were talking how Banapple started in Quezon City and how they decided to open a branch here in Cebu. To make the long story short, it all started with a Cebuano “Banapple fanboy” who used to study in Ateneo de Manila. Then an idea came in a form of a question, “Why don’t you open a branch in Cebu?” The rest is history then…
After GJ and Maricel’s talks, the foods did their talking and we were presented with a variety of dishes from their menu.
“The calm before the storm” Here’s what our table looked like at first. Variety of dishes and the banapple smoothie in the spotlight.
Crunchy chicken fillet and bell pepper sandwich
Awesome blueberry pancakes
apple caramel crumble pie
cheese and mushroom pie
How much does a meal costs?
Price per meal ranges from 190 to 300 pesos. Depending on your appetite, some meals can be shared by up to 2 people.
